Why does the Auto On/Off on my subwoofer function intermittantly or not at all?

Depending on what receiver you are using, it is possible that the voltage being sent down the sub cable is not enough to work the Auto On/Off correctly. The switch is as sensitive as we can make it- any more sensitive and it will respond to other electrical signals such as light
switches.

The best bet in these circumstances is to leave the sub on all the time as this will avoid this problem. The digital amp does not use much more power in idle than they do in standby. The Auto On/Off switch for the conventional amps in the 907,308 and Alumini 9 can be more sensitive so this is less likely to be an issue.
